What influences our thoughts are our beliefs, and if we do not have a good sense of who we are, we tend to take other people's beliefs, and unconsciously claim them as ours. This causes confusion, and it interferes with our desires, and comes out in our behaviors. You can tell, because we end up giving out mixed messages, and attract whats seems to be what we want, but is not, and we feel disappointed, and hopeless. I have been helping people overcome sabotaging beliefs and behaviors for years, and the first thing I do is help people set boundaries with others, and notice what their beliefs by asking the questions that help in looking at their own behavior patterns and comparing them to what they desire, and see by their own patterns if that truly was what they wanted. People then learn to take responsibility and control back, discover themselves, which increases their sense of self, and therefore they end up with confidence and strength, and come to the point of not being influenced by what other people think, because they know who they are... and the shift can be pretty quick, I will be teaching that at the Love Creation Conference.
